In the state of Colorado anyone can legally perform a home inspection without schooling, or licensing of any kind. Which really just makes it harder for you, the honest hard working customer, to hire the right person for the job. In efforts to be better than the competition, each of our inspectors must complete and pass a series of practice home inspections as well as an in depth training coarse. These classes add up to 120+ hours of schooling, which is provided through ICA (Inspection Certification Associates) school. Most "home inspectors" simply wont take the time, or spend the money in order to get a thorough, in depth training like this.

The inspection isn't only just as good as the inspector, it's also only as good as the report. If a customer can't navigate or understand their report, than what good was the inspection? We use a software called HomeGauge, it's rated as one of the best softwares if not the best software in the industry. Most importantly, it's much more user friendly than all the other programs, making it very easy to understand and navigate.
Flexible Scheduling
We give our customers multiple options when it comes to scheduling inspections. It's not always comfortable or convenient for everyone to either call or email. At Black Diamond, we give customers the option to schedule inspections online.
